EZTest® Biological Indicators for Hydrogen Peroxide

EZTest® H2O2 is a self-contained biological indicator consisting of a sealed glass ampoule containing a proprietary soybeancasein digest broth with a pH indicator and a stainless steel carrier inoculated with a sterilization-resistant spore population; both enclosed in a clear polypropylene molded body with a Type I process indicator in the filter paper. When the ampoule is crushed and incubated at the appropriate temperature, the organism will grow. The physical characteristic showing growth is a color change from purple to or toward yellow and/or turbidity.

EZTest H2O2 is a self-contained biological indicator (SCBI) for use in monitoring the efficacy of H2O2 plasma sterilization cycles.
